Shirow mix up drama and spoof. A lot. Original manga started as a "battlegirl" thing like applessed and turned more cerebral and dramatic later. Some chapters are really dark like "Robot Rundo" wich was inspiration for "Innocence" movie...

Philosophy background sticks to the Major because of famous Oshii movie.

I've just started reading the first GITS manga. I've only read the first couple of chapters but I'm surprised that there are so many silly moments in it. I expected it to be more serious than the SAC series.

Bonjour ! J'ai parcouru ta galerie avec intérêt, particulièrement tes délires autour d'Albator 78, qui sont très sympas. J'ai fait un site autrefois qui s'appelait Arcadia 2000... S'il était encore mis à jour, j'aurais été ravi de te créer une galerie...
Va voir ma galerie, tu y trouveras deux ou trois de mes délires qui te plairont, je pense...
